-- Great Ocean Conveyor Belt --

This map is an example of how the cold water and warm water currents travel around throughout the big ocean bodies! While it does show the currents it also give a simplistic view of up-welling(is an oceanographic phenomenon that involves wind-driven motion of dense, cooler, and usually nutrient-rich water towards the ocean surface, replacing the warmer, usually nutrient-depleted surface water.) This map is helpful for someone who is interested in learning about the Ocean currents and or someone who is trying to be resourceful with the natural heating and cooling of the ocean bodies.
